For Miyoshi Real Estate’s annual gift set, I’ve had the absolute joy creating the complete packaging design for their Moringa Gift Box, including individual sachets, tea bags, the citrus jam label, and the outer box itself.
Much of the inspiration came from learning that every component from the moringa powder to the citrus jam is harvested and packaged by hand. After seeing photographs of the farmers in Aso, Kumamoto carefully gathering moringa in the lush green hills, I wanted the design to reflect this human touch.
Choosing a handwritten-style typeface to evoke that handmade quality, and centered the palette around the vivid green of their moringa leaves. Because moringa is still unfamiliar to many people, the color also serves as a clear visual introduction to the product. The result is packaging that remains simple and clean, while celebrating the vibrancy, warmth, and craft of the people behind these products.
